Welcome new 3rd grade panthers to the 2016-2017 school year!
A lot of changes have been happening, which is why this website has not been fully updated yet!
In a few weeks, Horizon will be releasing brand new websites for its' teachers, right now they are under construction!
However, there are a few pieces of important information I wanted to share right now!
Curriculum Night is Thursday September 1st from 5-6:30 pm. This is a CRUCIAL night for you to come and learn all about 3rd grade and the expectations we have for your little one. I will be sharing information on what we will be learning for the year, the behavior system we use, and how to properly use the agenda your 3rd grader has this year.
Please, please come as it is so important for successful communication of my expectations this year.
Also, every night your child has 30 minutes of reading homework, practicing their spelling words 3 times each, and usually a math worksheet. Sometimes we do not have math homework due to review or a test. Every single piece of homework is recorded in their agenda for the night so you know what they are supposed to be working on at home.
As always, if you have any questions at all, please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] or call me!
Thank you!
Hope to see you September 1st!
With love,
Ms. Marsh
